Your Buggy Adventure Awaits Your adventure kicks off with a convenient pick-up from your Reykjavik hotel*, followed by a short drive to our base camp. Once there, our expert guides will equip you with all the necessary gear and safety instructions. Then, it’s time to hit the road – and the off-road!

From Basecamp to the Peak Starting from our basecamp, we’ll guide you along the scenic shores of Lake Hafravatn, navigating a variety of terrains for maximum fun. The excitement continues as you ascend Reykjavik Peak the pinnacle of your journey. From this vantage point, you'll be treated to stunning views of the Hengill mountain range, Hellisheiði geothermal power plant, Faxaflói Bay, the entire capital region, Bláfjöll mountain range, and the iconic Esja mountain, Reykjavik’s beloved house mountain.

Important Information Hotel pickups are not included in the tour price. While we offer a pickup service, you are also welcome to make your own way to our Safari Quads Base Camp!

Our Buggy Safari is the perfect half-day adventure, taking only two and a half hours with convenient pickup and drop-off service.
Opt for the 9:00 AM tour, and you'll be back at your hotel by 11:30 AM – leaving plenty of time to combine this adventure with other exciting activities like caving, the Golden Circle tour, snorkeling, or even whale watching!
